Homemade almond milk – a taste revelation!

This stuff is the nectar of the Gods. Blended with frozen fruit and agave it’s the nectar of the Gods of the Gods. The minute I tasted this I sprinted upstairs for my camera because I just had to share this right away.

It’s incredible. It’s silky. It’s nutty. It tastes just like the best drink in the whole wide world.

Tonight before the girls went to bed we blended some up into strawberry milkshakes using our special supply of frozen biodynamic strawberries.

Seriously. This is the best.

This looks and sounds amazing. I have never made (or drunk, to my knowledge!) almond milk but I want to try it now. I really like the way you styled the photos. I’ve got such a weakness for those candy-striped paper straws. x

Hi Gillian – have you managed to try it yet? Once you get the hang of it it’s dead easy – we’ve been making almond milk soft serve ice cream lately. Yum!
